Look what I bought!

I have a hard time not buying yarn just because it's pretty. I've had to stop going to the stores, reading the ads for the stores, looking at the yarn online . . . it's been nine whole days.

That Italian wool is beautiful.

Saaski, It is addicting, I tell you. On another note, I just realized my "wool" is actually 70% wool/30% acrylic. I can't decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but it does make me want to go out and buy some 100% wool. Keep up with your "ban." I'm rooting for you.

Once I organized all my yarn into the drawers I bought, and could see just how much I have, it really put a damper on my desire to buy more. I used to be the 'buy only for a specific project' sort and I think I can manage to stick to that. I have so many projects I want to do and plenty of yarn to do them.

I think it depends on what you want to do with it whether or not you need 100% wool. The acrylic might make it softer or make it drape better or just make it easier to wash without shrinking. I do understand the appeal of 100% natural yarns, though.
